文献検索をすると、上記記事の通り、確かに中国勢が色々出しています。
結局、生成AIは「潜在記憶」を機械の中に作るやり方が分かったということなので、人間固有の働きと思われていたものに機械が関与するようになるはずです。
絵画、音楽、ロボットの制御、おそらく小説も書いてくれるでしょう。AI用の半導体が注目されているのも納得です。
問題は消費電力ですが、これもそのうち解決するのではないかと思います。
現在は少ない演算装置を高速で動かして大規模なニューラルネットワーク（10億以上のパラメータ＝シナプスを持つ）を模擬していますが、大きなネットワークを作りこんでから低速で動かせば必要電力は減るはずです。また、電気ではなくて非常に短い光ファイバで配線すると配線の数が減らせたり消費電力が少なくて済んだりするのでいま活発な開発が始まっています。
