先週、ルテチウム(71番元素)＋水素＋窒素の系で、高圧下（比較的低い）での室温付近での超伝導がNature誌に報告されました。これは米国のロチェスター大学の論文です。まだ他機関による追試が必要ですが、本当ならば様々な応用が可能になるでしょう。

今週の世界の研究所は、高圧の研究所を探しました。
大型の高圧装置は、愛媛大学・地球深部ダイナミクス研究センターにあるBochanが有名です。
中国の北京高圧研究中心も活発に論文を発表しています。
