USIP(米国・平和研究所)からどう話題を作ろうか考えましたが、素人国際政治学者はやめにして、平和のための意思疎通に役立つ（？）機械翻訳の話題にしましょう。私はYoutubeでいろいろな言葉の動画を見ているからか、Grammarly というソフトの宣伝がやたらに出てきます。ウクライナ発のソフトのようです。関連してアメリカの大学の英語の先生のコラムがありました。
けなしていますが、そこそこ使えるようです。私は冠詞をよく間違えるので、役立ちそうです。
使い方は下記翻訳家のサイトが参考になりました。パソコンの連絡先を抜かれるかもしれないのはちょっといやですね。

amateur は日本語のアマチュア ですが、アクセントは先頭です。スペルも注意です。 語源は、amare ラテン語 = to love
好事家 (こうずか、読み注意） 風流なことを好む人、豊富な知識を持っていてもあくまで趣味として楽しむ人、物好きな人
dilettante 「ディ」れタント アクセントは日本語とちがいますね。イタリア語由来だそうです。 someone who is not serious about what they are doing or does not study a subject thoroughly (LDOCE) すこしずれますが、「好事家」と近いですね。
冠詞 articles （記事、品目 などの他に） = a, an, the 等 definite article 定冠詞 = the, indefinite article 不定冠詞 = a, an
