今週の「世界の研究所」は、フランスのInstitute Carnort Chimie Balard Cirimatを取り上げます。

フランスやドイツの研究所は先人の名前を付けることが多く、しばしば名前が変わるのでややこしいです。今回の研究所の由来は見つけられませんでしたが、

だと推測します。研究者は800人、年間予算は40Mユーロ=50億円、地中海沿岸のMontpellier モン「ペ」リエ と中部のToulouse トゥ「る」ーズ に拠点があるようです。産業界との連携を重視しているようです。分野も金属学から薬までいろいろで、無理やりくっつけたように見え、どうやって運営しているのか知りたいです。今週は元素の続きです（話が止まらなくなってしまいました）。
