今週の世界の研究所は、インドのICT(information and communication technology)最大手 Tata Consultancy Services をとりあげます。下記web siteはさすがにしゃれています。

インドはIT関係が強いのは聞いたことがあると思いますが、その中でも最大で、

従業員49万人、この4半期の売り上げ$6.33Bn=7300億円、利益$1.301Bn=1500億円、年間成長率14%、利益率20.5%
です。これらの内訳は、ほぼ人件費関係だと思いますが、売り上げを従業員数で割ると600万円/年/人となって、日本とそんなに変わらないように見えます（2倍以内？）。これは、世界中が能力・努力で競争するようになってきているということでしょう。いろいろ悲観的なことが言われていますが、若い人にとっては楽はできませんが、良い時代ではないでしょうか。
三菱商事との合弁の日本法人も2900人を擁しています。上記TCSのサイトにも日本の企業の業務改善例がいくつか出ています。
TCSは1868年創設のTata（タタ）財閥の一部です。日本の近代産業立ち上げとほぼ同じ時期ですね。
今週は「図解・インド経済大全 佐藤・上野・高口編著」（2021年1月刊、科研費の成果の一部だそうです。面白い）を見ながらインドについて調べていきたいと思います。
